Hensoldt 8x24 Grossfeld

Das "Grossfeld" Modell 8x24 wurde von Hensoldt ab ca. 1930 bis ca. 1940. Der untere Deckel trägt das Firmenlogo und die Seriennummer 99130. Der obere Deckel ist mit dem geschwungenen Schreibschriftwort "Grossfeld" und 8x24 gekennzeichnet. Beide Deckel sind schwarz lackiert und ohne Verschraubungen. Es ist ein Porro-1-Prismenmonokular aus Aluminium (Leichtmetall-Glas) mit Hartgummiummantelung und eingegossener Riemenöse, schwarzer Deckel-Lackierung und einem Okular mit Dioptrienausgleich von + bis - 5 und einer Kunststoff. Vergleicht man es mit dem anderen 8x24 Grossfeld 150m, könnte dies ein frühes Monokular von 1928-31 mit einem gerigneren Sehfeld von 145/1000m sein.

The "Grossfeld" model 8x24 was made by Hensoldt from approximately 1930 to approximately 1940. The lower cover bears the company logo and the serial number 99130. The upper cover is marked with the curved handscript word "Grossfeld" and 8x24. Both covers are painted black and have no screws. It is a Porro 1 prism monocular made of aluminum (light metal glass) with a hard rubber coating and cast-in strap lug, black cover paint, and an eyepiece with diopter adjustment from + to -5 and a plastic Augenmuschel. Comparing it with the other 8x24 Grossfeld 150m, this could be an early monocular from 1928-31 with a narrower field of view of 145/1000m.

Das 8x24 ist 110-120mm lang, das Gehäuse ist oben 42x42mm und unten 46x46mm breit, die Objektivfassung 34mm, das linksseitige Okularstück 27mm, der Fokussierungsring 30mm und die Augenmuschel 34,8 mm im Durchmesser. Das Monokular wiegt 191g.

The 8x24 is 110-120mm long, the housing is 42x42mm wide at the top and 46x46mm wide at the bottom, the obejctive frame is 34mm, the left-side eyepiece is 27mm, the focus ring is 30mm, and the eyecup is 34.8mm in diameter. The monocular weighs 191g.
