Goerz Wien 4x - 13°

Das kleine 4x15 Monokular mit 45°-Einblick war für einen 1,25m Entfernungsmesser als Richtvisier bestimmt. Der Gehäusedeckel ist mit 4x einem Winkelsymbol und "=13°" für den Sehwinkel, dem Durchmesser-Zeichen und "=3.75" (Austrittspupille), darunter mit dem Goerz-Prismen-Logo und "C.P. Goerz Wien" sowie "G125305" beschriftet. An der Deckelseite sind auch zwei Stifte für ein Kimme-und-Korn-Visier angeschraubt. Auf der anderen Seite befindet sich am Okularstück eine Beleuchtungsfassung. Die Strichplatte zeigt einen Halbkreuz mit 3 Strichen eines Fadenkreuz innerhalb dessen. Die Dioptrienskala ist von + bis -6 nummeriert. Die Hartgummiaugenmuschel lässt sich an einem am Okularende drehbaren Ring wegklappen. Das Objektiv hat einen schwarz lackierten Fassungsring. Das Gehäuse ist mit einem dunkelgrünen Rauhlack ummantelt.

The small 4x15 monocular with a 45° view was intended to serve as a a direction sight for a 1.25m rangefinder. The housing cover is marked with 4x, an angle symbol, "=13°" for the angle of view, the diameter symbol, and "=3.75" (exit pupil diameter). Below that, the Goerz prism logo, "C.P. Goerz Vienna," and "G125305" are also marked. Two pins for a bead and notch sight are screwed onto the cover. On the other side, an illumination socket is located on the eyepiece. The reticle has a semi-circle and three lines of a cross-hair within. The diopter scale is numbered from + to -6. The hard rubber eyecup can be folded away using a rotating ring at the end of the eyepiece. The objective lens has a black lacquered mounting ring. The housing is coated with a dark green crinklle paint.

Der Schwalbenschwanzsockel ist 45mm lang, die Objektivfassung 27,5mm, das Okularstück 30mm, der Fokussierungsring 35mm und die Augenmuschel 39,5mm im Durchmesser. Das 4x wird mit einer Schwalbenschwanz-Montageplatte an dem Goerz 1,25m Entfernungsmesser oben rechts befstigt. Es arretiert mit einm Federstift, der mittels Knopf gelöst werden kann. The 4x is attached to the rangefinder at the top right with a dovetail mounting plate. It is locked in place with a spring pin that can be released using a knob.
