Goerz Visier

Dieses Visier ist unbeschriftet, hat aber die gleiche Bauweise wie das Visier für den Richtkries M5 von Goerz. Vermutlich ist es eine etwas größere Variante dessen. Es dürfte smit auch von Goerz Berlin hergestellt worden sein. Gleichermaßen hat dieses Visier ein Abbe-König Prisma, welches in identischer Konstruktionsweise im Visierrohr udn unter dem Deckel gehalten wird. Im Bild lässt sich auch sehen, dass die beiden Prismenteile ohne Probleme herausnehmbar sind. Dieses Vissier hat keine Strichplatte und Beleuchtungsfenster. Die Augenmuschel ist aus schwarz lackiertem Messing. Der Dioptrienausgleich ist mit Null sowie bei bei plus und minus mit 1, 2 und 3 markiert, wobei der Teilstrich für die 3 über den Dioptrienring komplett gezogen ist, sodass die 3 daneben graviert wurde. Das Visier hat eine ungefähr 6fache Vergrößerung und ein 32mm Objektiv.

Goerz Sight

This sight is unmarked, but has the same construction as the sight for the Richtkries M5 by Goerz. It is presumably a slightly larger version of that. It was therefore also likely manufactured by Goerz Berlin. Likewise, this sight features an Abbe-König prism, which is held in the sight tube and under the cover in an identical manner. The picture also shows that the two prism parts are easily removable. This sight does not have a reticle or illumination window. The eyecup is made of black lacquered brass. The diopter adjustment is marked with zero, as well as plus and minus with 1, 2, and 3. The division line for 3 extends completely across the diopter ring, so that the 3 is engraved next to it. The sight has aproimately a magnification of 6 times and a 32mm objective lens.

Das Monokular ist 210-218mm lang, die Objektivfassung ist 38,5mm, die Augenmuschel 27mm im Durchmesser, der Tubus verbreitert sich von 32mm auf 37mm. Die vorstehnde Prismendose ist 27mm breit und 82mm lang. Das Visier wiegt 345g.
