Das Hensoldt Dialyt 8x56 Monokular trägt die Seriennummer 997139 (weitere 813801, 851136) und wurde zwischen 1948 und 1963 hergestellt. Das vorliegende Exemplar hat nicht mehr die Originalaugenmuschel, sondern eine aufgesteckte ergonomisch geformte Plastikmuschel. Das konische Gehäuse ist mit Vulkanit überzogen. Der Beschriftungssockel erstreckt sich über die gesamte Länge des Prismengehäuses. Die Optik ist leicht bläulich vergütet.

The model shown first comes with a flared plastic eye-cup put onto the ocular isntead. The conical tube is covered with Ebonite.
