Carl Zeiss unokulare Fernrohrlupe 3x
| Die sogenannte (unokulare) Fernrohrlupe mit 3x Vergrößerung und 13,5mm Objektiv wurde mit verschiedenen Vorsatzlinsen (+2 bis +20 dpt) geliefert, mit denen sie als Nahfokusmonokular (Leselupe) oder Mikroskop nutzbar war. Dafür gab es außer einem Handgriff, der an einem Bügel des Monokulars geschraubt wurde, Stative, Kopfhalter und Beleuchtungslämpchen. Für Brillenträger und sehbehinderte Menschen gab es auch verschiedene Augenmuscheln bzw. Okularvorsätze, um Brechungsfehler des Auges zu korrigieren (vgl. zum Zubehör auch Fernrohrlupe 6x). | The so-called "(unokulare) Fernrohrlupe" with a 3x magnigfication and a13.5mm objectiuve was available with different add-on lenses (+2 to +20 dpt). Thus the monocular could be used as a close-focus glass (reading magnifier) or as a microscope. Besides the handle which could be screwed to a shackle at the monocular, there were stands, head bands and lighting units (special bulbs). Different eye-cups and ocular extra lenses were provided for spectacle wearers or people with visual impairments to correct refraction defects (conc. accessories also cf. Fernrohrlupe 6x). |
| Zum Transport oder zur Aufbewahrung gab es eine kleine passende Holzkiste, die auch mit "Unokulare Fernrohrlupe" beschriftet war. Die 1. Abbildung einer Schachtel zeigt ein mit schwarzem Pergament überzogenes, 19x9x6cm großes Kistchen mit der Beschriftung "unokulare Fernrohrlupe" und dem Zeiss-Logo unten rechts. Der Deckel wird mit einm kleinen silbrigen Blechverschluss zu gehalten. Sie ist mit dunkelblauem Samt ausgelegt. Die anderen Kisten sind nicht verkleidet. Alle haben Aussparungen für die Vorsatzlinsen. |
A matching small wooden box was supplied for transport or storage. It was marked with "Unokulare Fernrohrlupe". The first picture of a case shows one sized 19x9x6cm with some black paper covering and the Zeiss logo near the right bottom side of the lid. The lid can be closed with a small silvery tin catch. The case has a blue velvet lining. The other boxex do not have any lining, but all have recessing holes to hold the close-up lenses. |

Die Fernrohrlupe mit Seriennummer 303712 aus der schwarzen Kiste hat einen fest montierten Griff und aufschraubbare Vorsatzlinsen, das Modell Nr. 414578 daneben in der Holzkiste hat eine flache brillenträgerausgenmuschel, (bereits) einen abschraubbaren Griff sowie auffschraubbare Nahlöinsen, während die anderen späteren Modelle einen abschraubbaren Griff und aufsteckbare Linsen haben. |
Field of view was 13.7° or 24m/1000m (identical specifications to the binocular version Teleater 3x13.5). As a magnifier the 3x-Fernrohrlupe achieved magnifications up to 14.25x with slip-on lenses. As a microscope the magnification reaches 90 times with add-on objectives. The glass weighs 117g without handle, the handle itselfs weighs 38g. Size and design is the same as the 6x Fernrohrlupe.
The Fernrohrlupe with serial number 303712 (black box) has a handle which is fixed to the ring, and screw-on lenses, the model No. 414578 (wooden box in the next picture) comes with a flat eyecup for spectacle weares, already a screw-on handle and still screw-on close-up lenses, whereas the other later models have a screwable handle, but slip-on lenses. |
